Looking to Jesus

"looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."  Hebrews 12:2

How do we look to Jesus?
Look to him like a father and friend. Put our trust and confidence in Him.  
What keeps us from looking to Jesus?  (obstacles, distractions)
Cell phones, music, internet, our words, friends...all of these can be distractions from looking to Christ. 

What is the reward for looking to Jesus?
We see His promises are true and will have eternal life.  

How has "looking to Jesus" changed your life? 
Estefani, "I think, 'is this good?  Does Jesus want me to do this?'"

Meet the Class

Hi, I'm Alana. I'm a student in a christian school in Bolivia.  In this blog we will talk about everything. Today I'm going to introduce  you to all my classmates. (they'll be bloggers too)

Estefani: She's funny and cheers everyone up. She loves volleyball,  talking, and eating  even when she's the most funny of us, she can complain a lot but that doesn't matter.

Jessica: She's really smart and shy.  She likes playing soccer and she watches movies a lot but sometimes she can be really funny too.

Ms Ashley: She's our new teacher this year, but we like her a lot. She make us learn a lot of things in different ways.

and "finally" me .... well there's not a lot about me...hmm...people think I'm quiet and shy but truly I'm  outgoing  and a little weird.
